The ultimate vocation for all human being, it's to become a Saint.
That's the why of being a follower of Jesus.
Steps to Sainthood (Vatican)
1) Servant of God
2) Venerable
3) Blessed
4) Saint
Why does Catholics pray, attend Mass, read Bible, do charity works, go to confession, etc...
Because it's all for the sake of becoming Saints.

Intercession
Catholics don't worship Saints, we pray with Saints to God.
Incorruptions of body
Not all, but few Saints were able to have their body fully incorrupted after they die!
A true grace from God!
Relics
Physical remaining of Saints, usually a small piece is insert into Catholic church's altars.
It doesn't do miracles; only God does, but through it.
Feast day
Usually Saints have a special day in the liturgical calendar (Catholic year calendar).
If more people were doing more of what truly God ask for (not their own will), we would get more Saints on Earth. :)
